Why does Payflow keep the cheapest shipping option first?
Shopify checkout expects the cheapest eligible normal shipping option to remain the default first option. Payflow keeps the cheapest rates first so delivery reordering stays aligned with Shopify checkout behavior.
You can still use Delivery Customization to:
- hide shipping rates
- rename shipping rates
- move other rates higher or lower
- group rates by checkout title keywords
- group rates by actual checkout price, such as free shipping (
0) or a specific price
When you use manual ordering, Payflow keeps the cheapest eligible shipping rates first and applies your ordering to the rest of the list where Shopify allows it. If multiple rates share the same lowest price, Payflow keeps those tied cheapest rates ahead of paid methods. You can still order the tied cheapest methods relative to each other.
See Delivery Customization for setup examples.
