Hide a Payment Method by Country

Use Shipping country (after the customer enters an address) or Shopify Market (from the start of checkout). Example below: Bank Deposit only when shipping to Czechia — hide it for every other country (Is not any of → Czechia on the allowlist). For COD in Czech Republic and Slovakia only, add both countries to that allowlist the same way.

Setup

1. Create customization > Hide payment methods.
2. Add Shipping country or Shopify Market → Is not any of → the countries or markets where the method should stay (your allowlist), e.g. Czechia.
3. Target the method: Pre-defined → e.g. Bank Deposit.
4. Active, Save, and verify at checkout.

Example: hide Bank Deposit unless the shipping country is Czechia

Markets

With Shopify Market, the payment method is hidden or shown as soon as checkout loads. Shipping country only applies after the customer has entered a full shipping address, so the list can look wrong until then.
