Hide a Payment Method by Country

Use Shipping country when the destination country is what matters, or Shopify Market when your rule follows Shopify Markets. Shipping country can fall back to Shopify’s checkout localization country before the customer completes the address, then uses the entered shipping country once available. Example below: Bank Deposit only when shipping to Czechia — hide it for every other country (Is not any of → Czechia on the allowlist). For COD in Czech Republic and Slovakia only, add both countries to that allowlist the same way.

  1. Create customization > Hide payment methods.
  2. Add Shipping country or Shopify MarketIs not any of → the countries or markets where the method should stay (your allowlist), e.g. Czechia.
  3. Target the method: Pre-defined → e.g. Bank Deposit.
  4. Active, Save, and verify at checkout.
Example: hide Bank Deposit unless the shipping country is Czechia
